Fort Mason in San Francisco on Friday, April 24th from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Maritime Research Center of the San Francisco Maritime National Historic
Park, Fort Mason Center, Building E.
Following the Chapter business meeting, we will have special interest breakout
sessions for further discussion (cataloging, reference, instruction, and/or
other topics to be determined), an introduction to the Maritime NHP research
collections, a talk on maritime art by historian Jim Shuttleworth, followed by
a tour of the Fine Arts Room.

Welcome to the Mexican Museum and a tour of the exhibition, Maestros:
20th Century Mexican Masters, by Marlena Cannon, Assistant to the
Director.

Long Now Foundation
Introduction to the Long Now Foundation and tour with Andrew Warner, Technical Production and Public Communications Lead, followed by tea or a happy hour cocktail at The Interval.

2015 membership dues can be paid in person or through the
Chapter's PayPal account.
Directions: The Maritime Research Center is located on the
third floor of Building E, in Fort Mason Center (also known as Lower Fort
Mason), located near the intersection of Buchanan St. and Marina Blvd.
(Entrance across from the Marina Safeway.) Building E is the easternmost
warehouse building, near the Festival Pavilion and the Firehouse building.
