SIlent Auction Donation for the Annual Conference

Some of us are headed off to Ft. Worth, Texas for this year's ARLIS/NA Annual Conference, and we'll be bringing treasures from Northern California to donate to the silent auction, benefiting student scholarships. We have a great collection this year! Thanks to all chapter members who generously donated, and to Abby Bridge for beating the bushes and getting some wonderful corporate donations.

This year, we've got some wares crafted by chapter members:

  • Three postcard format prints from Commuter Diary series, by Mary Marsh
  • Felted macarons guest soaps, by Darlene Tong
  • Hand-embroidered “Overdue” tea towel, by Dayna Holz

And some great donations from member institutions and chapter admirers:

  • South of Market, by Janet Delaney. Photobook related to exhibition currently on view at the de Young Museum, donated by SFMOMA Museum Store
  • Garry Winogrand. Catalog of exhibition jointly organized by SFMOMA and the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC, currently on view at FundaciĆ³n MAPFRE, Madrid. Donated by SFMOMA Research Library
  • San Francisco’s Municipal Railway, MUNI. Pictorial history of San Francisco’s transit agency. Donated by the San Francisco Railway Museum
  • 30-A-Day tub of assorted dark chocolate, Bay Lights 12 pc gift box (art work features installation on the Bay Bridge by Leo Villareal), SF Heart Souvenir 12 pc gift box (art work features Cupid’s Span, public sculpture by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen), Two Mokaccino 58g bars. All donated by TCHO chocolate

Thanks everyone! And be sure to tell your conference-going colleagues to bid high and bid often!
