VRA Northern California Chapter Spring Meeting
For those of you who like to keep abreast of Visual Resources Association activities, please note that the VRA Northern California Chapter will be holding its spring meeting this Friday, February 26 at UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design (305 Wurster Hall). Two guest speakers will be featured: Judy Weedman, from the San Jose State University School of Library and Information Science, and Layna White, from SFMOMA. Instructions for Joining Listservs
Here are instructions for joining discussion lists related to art librarianship.
1) ARLIS-CA, the Listserv for the Northern & Southern California Chapters:How to Subscribe
- Send an e-mail message to listserv@lsv.arlisna.org with the subject line blank. In the body of your message, type ONLY the following (no signature): SUBSCRIBE ARLIS-CA YOUR NAME (substituting your own name).
- The list moderator will add all new subscribers as they are received. Some delays are possible.
How to Unsubscribe
- Send an e-mail message to listserv@lsv.arlisna.org with the subject line blank.
- In the body of your message, type ONLY the following (no signature): SIGNOFF ARLIS-CA.
How to Post a Message
- Send your posting to ARLIS-CA@lsv.arlisna.org.
- Only subscribers may post messages to the list.
- Attachments are not accepted; these postings are automatically rejected.
- Please contact the moderator for assistance if your posting is rejected.
How to Change Your Subscription Address
- Send an e-mail message from the old address to listserv@lsv.arlisna.org with the subject line blank.
- In the body of your message, type ONLY the following (no signature): CHANGE ARLIS-CA NEW@ADDRESS (substituting your new address).
How to Temporarily Stop Receiving Listserv Postings
It is proper listserv etiquette to set your subscription on nomail when you will be away from your office for an extended period of time. This prevents other subscribers from receiving your automatic "out-of-office" reply every time they post to the list. Those who want to read the listserv mail they missed while away can do so through the archives.
- Send an email message to listserv@lsv.arlisna.org with the subject line blank.
- In the body of your message, type ONLY the following (no signature):
